RELIGIOUS FANATICS KICKED BUTT OF AMERICA’S MILITARY
I am not sure how you feel about this, but I am filled with righteous anger and shed tears of deep grief as I watch this unfold. Mock me for weeping if you like, but I don’t give a solitary hoot. Do you really get it? Seventy-five thousand religious fanatics just conquered the world’s greatest military? These same fanatics still live like their ancestors did in the 6th century! They have also kicked butt of the UK’s military, as well as that of Russia? Let’s keep this reasonable and logical. I not only believe that America’s military is far more powerful than either of those were, but I also believe that America is the greatest country on the face of this planet. Most Americans believed that just a short time ago, but to our horror, we have seen a large portion of our population display extremely bad feelings toward this nation. In fact, we have an administration in total power of the country at present, who literally hate the country.
If you care to be brutally honest with yourself, take a few moments to decide just what you would do if you had the power to destroy America in the shortest possible time. I don’t give a solitary hoot whether you call yourself left, right, Democrat, Republican, Independent or anything in between. Your plan would be to do exactly what Joe Biden has done from day one of his presidency. And I also don’t give a solitary hoot what you thought of Donald Trump. I had no clue what sort of man he was until I watched those Hollywood tapes [I think they were called]. At that time, I sure had zero admiration or respect for him. I never imagined that such a man could be capable of winning an election for President of the United States. However, when he won that election, I told my wife, “Let’s not write him off just because he displayed a bad character weakness in those tapes, but we will give him a chance to lead the nation.” My wife and I had to agree that he truly did make America great again, after eight years of Obama’s disastrous reign. Obama was the genesis of the America-hating clan, and it has spread far and wide now. That is clearly all due to these folks’ belief in Carl Marx or Saul Alinsky, and their ilk.
Ten years ago, America boasted of being 80% Christian. Now, only 51% call themselves Christian on their census form. That’s the latest number I have seen put out there. But it’s common knowledge that such people have been vacating their pews in great numbers over the past decade. Have any church leaders seriously asked the question, why? Back in the early 1800’s the rest of the world looked at America with great awe. They could not believe that such a relatively young nation could advance so rapidly in so many aspects of life and society. The French sent a man to America to find out how this was possible.
Alexis Charles Henri Clérel, comte de Tocqueville , a French aristocrat, diplomat, political scientist, political philosopher and historian, spent several months visiting America in 1831. He visited our young national government, our schools, our centers of commerce, and was still in the dark as to why America was so great. He was speaking about this to someone one day, and was asked, ‘Have you attended any church services yet?’ After doing just that, Alexis returned to France and reported that ‘America is great, because Americans are good, and if Americans ever cease to be good, America will no longer be great.’ That, my dear reader, is precisely why America has been an incredibly great nation. The founding fathers were of the mind that the Psalmist was right when he quilled:
Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. Ps. 127:1
They related the same truth to the creation [building] of a nation. Much prayer and God-searching went on at that time. At the time Alexis visited America, the Holiness Movement was in full sway across the nation, where preachers knew, feared, loved, and obeyed God. They taught the truth of God’s life instruction manual where we find God’s message that righteousness exalts a nation. They also taught the truth that God accepts those who ‘do what is right’ [obey God] as righteous in His sight.
Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? Rom. 6:16
"I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right." Acts. 10:34-35
If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.” Gen. 4:7
For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous. Rom. 2:13
If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who does what is right has been born of him. 1 Jn. 2:29
Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. 1 Jn 3:7
God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”
To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honour and immortality, he will give eternal life. Rom. 2:6-7
I don’t know about you, but I see all of that as quite logical and reasonable. After all, how can one suddenly be made righteous, when that one continues to do stuff that is not right, or simply disobeys God? If I look at my trusty concordance, I find that the word comes from the Greek word ‘dikalos’ meaning: ‘a person in accord with God’s standards, in proper relationship with God.’ America has come a very long way since then. I have heard from many preachers that they, along with their congregation, are all sinners, but all considered righteous in God’s eyes. I don’t know how or when this reversal of God’s truth snuck in, but very obviously Satan had a major role in that. It is clearly obvious that Satan hates America. He has done so from her very inception. He had already conquered the so-called ‘Church’ in England, and when these pesky critics of his ‘religion’ across the UK migrated to the New World to actually start a new nation that believed God’s truth, Satan threw a hissy-fit. He has been working on a strategy to destroy God’s influence on this nation ever since. One tactic that I am aware of is the infiltration of people who have been duped into believing the likes of Carl Marx and Saul Alinsky. Such people have been in our society for the past century at least, subtly poisoning the minds of others with their socialist doctrines. Satan is not stupid, and he focused on professors who would pass on his poison to hundreds of thousands of unsuspecting students.
I can assure you; Satan was champing at the bit all the while the Holiness Movement spread across the nation. But somehow, he managed to destroy that movement, and replace it with a bunch of lies that people found far easier to accept than God’s true gospel. After all, it’s far more tempting to go for something of great value, when it’s offered to you for free, than if it costs you everything you have.
In the same way, those of you who do not give up everything you have cannot be my disciples. Lk. 14:33
Jesus looked at him and loved him. “One thing you lack,” he said. “Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” Mk. 10:21
Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. Lk. 9:23
In spite of those verses and many more like them, today’s gospel is ‘come to Jesus,’ or ‘believe in Jesus,’ or ‘have faith in Jesus’ blood,’ or ‘trust in Jesus,’ or to ‘accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior.’ The only places that we find believing in Jesus as a means to eternal life are when the Greek word, ‘pisteuo’ was used, which literally means to have faith, trust, with the implication that actions based on that faith and trust will follow. Our bibles have translated that word to ‘believe.’ I trust you can see the difference. All of the above ‘gospel words’ are nothing more than semantics, with zero substance at all. They really are more akin to voodooism or hypnosis than some way to gain eternal life. They are just some mind-games which hold one in bondage to attempt to show that you have accomplished salvation by doing better, or following the rules and keeping to some ritual. Don’t ever skip your daily quiet time. Make sure you pray every day. Pray ‘a grace’ before you eat. Attend church every week, and join a cell group etc.
Such a gospel was NOT preached when the world was looking at America with their jaws dropped in unbelief. When one studies God’s life manual one finds a clear, common theme all the way through that if you obey God we will live, but if we don’t we don’t. That ‘gospel’ started in the Garden of Eden and never ended. Jesus assured us that it’s not those who call Him Lord who get a welcome at the pearly gates, but it’s those who obey [do the will of] His Father. The parables that Jesus used to emphasise a truth gave us the same gospel. Read them carefully please. It was the sheep who got the welcome mat laid out for them. They were those who ‘did the right thing.’ Jesus called them righteous. Mat. 25:37
When one actually studies God’s word from cover to cover which, I am afraid to remind you, few people have ever done, one finds a clear pathway to abundant, and eternal life. For starters, God makes it abundantly clear that if you don’t know God, you go to hell.
Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. Jn. 17:3
He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might. 2 Thes. 1:8-9
I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the LORD. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart. Jer. 24:7
“Does it make you a king to have more and more cedar? Did not your father have food and drink? He did what was right and just, so all went well with him.
He defended the cause of the poor and needy, and so all went well. Is that not what it means to know me?” declares the LORD. Jer. 22:15-16
“Does it make you a king to have more and more cedar? Did not your father have food and drink? He did what was right and just, so all went well with him.
He defended the cause of the poor and needy, and so all went well. Is that not what it means to know me?” declares the LORD. Jer. 22:15-16
Do you really believe that pew-warmers of today actually have hearts that yearn to know God? Jeremiah assures us that God has a purpose for each of us, if we truly search for Him with all our hearts. Jer. 29:11-14
Peter left us with an incredible summary of what it is to be a child of God. Here it is:
By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.
And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.
In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises. Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge,
and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness,
and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone.
The more you grow like this, the more productive and useful you will be in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
But those who fail to develop in this way are short-sighted or blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their old sins.
So, dear brothers and sisters work hard to prove that you really are among those God has called and chosen. Do these things, and you will never fall away.
Then God will give you a grand entrance into the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 1:3-11
John gave us a clear indication of how we can tell if we really know Him or not.
We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands.
Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person.
But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in Him must live as Jesus lived. 1 Jn. 2:3-6
You will NEVER hear these truths in churches today. They completely negate any suggestion of ‘free salvation’ or ‘saved by grace.’ To get to know God requires a very disciplined, passionate, and sincere search for Him, with ALL your heart. In fact, Solomon gave us a great description of how that search should be.
My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding—indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. Prov. 2:1-5
Now that we have established that one must get to know God in order to get a welcome mat at the pearly gates, we are given another necessary requirement for salvation. Solomon tells us that if we search for wisdom, understanding, insight and knowledge, we will understand the fear of God. He begins his proverbs with this teaching:
The proverbs of Solomon, son of David, king of Israel: for gaining wisdom and instruction; for understanding words of insight; for receiving instruction in prudent behavior, doing what is right and just and fair; for giving prudence to those who are simple, knowledge and discretion to the young—let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance—for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Prov. .1:1-7
I have NEVER heard a gospel message from any pulpit that included anything about fearing God. Yet the whole of scripture shouts out the message that the fear of God is basic and fundamental to the kind of life God demands of His kids and for entry to heaven. It was not only Solomon that gave us this truth. Let’s take a look at some of the hundreds of scriptures that teach us about the fear of God. I will not comment on them, but please carefully meditate on each of them and open your heart and mind to hear from God. After all, these are His words, not mine.
Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee and Samaria enjoyed a time of peace and was strengthened. Living in the fear of the Lord and encouraged by the Holy Spirit, it increased in numbers. Acts 9:31
Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right. Acts 10:34-35
Since, then, we know what it is to fear the Lord, we try to persuade others. What we are is plain to God, and I hope it is also plain to your conscience. 2 Cor. 5:11
Since you call on a Father who judges each person’s work impartially, live out your time as foreigners here in reverent fear. 1 Pet. 1:17
Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, Phil. 2:12
Moses said to the people, do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of the Lord will be with you to keep you from sinning. Ex. 20:20
Since they hated knowledge and did not choose to fear the LORD. Since they would not accept my advice and spurned my rebuke, they will eat the fruit of their ways and be filled with the fruit of their schemes. Prov. 1:29-30
Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil. Prov. 3:7
To fear the LORD is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech. Prov. 8:13
Through the fear of the LORD evil is avoided. Prov. 16:6
Humility and the fear of the LORD; its wages are riches and honor and life. Prov. 22:4
The fear of the LORD leads to life; then one rests content, untouched by trouble. Prov. 19:23
The fear of the LORD teaches a man wisdom, and humility comes before honor. Prov. 15:33
Whoever fears the LORD has a secure fortress, and for their children it will be a refuge. The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, turning a person from sin. Prov. 14:26-27
Do not let your heart envy sinners, but always be zealous for the fear of the LORD. There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off. Prov. 23:17-18
Blessed is the one who fears God, but whoever hardens their heart falls into trouble. Prov. 28:14
LORD, who may dwell in your sacred tent? Who may live on your holy mountain? The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart; whose tongue utters no slander, who does no wrong to a neighbor, and casts no slur on others; who despises a vile person but honors those who fear the LORD; who keeps an oath even when it hurts, and does not change their mind; who lends money to the poor without interest; who does not accept a bribe against the innocent. Whoever does these things will never be shaken. Ps. 15:1-5
Serve the LORD with fear and celebrate his rule with trembling. Ps. 2:11
The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the LORD are firm, and all of them are righteous. Ps. 19:9
You who fear the LORD, praise him! All you descendants of Jacob, honor him! Revere him, all you descendants of Israel!
From you comes the theme of my praise in the great assembly; before those who fear you I will fulfil my vows. Ps. 22:23, 25
Who, then, are those who fear the LORD? He will instruct them in the ways they should choose.
They will spend their days in prosperity, and their descendants will inherit the land.
The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them. Ps. 25:12-14
How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you. Ps. 31:19
But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. Ps. 33:18-19
The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. Fear the LORD, you his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing. The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing. Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD. Ps. 34:7-11
I have a message from God in my heart concerning the sinfulness of the wicked: There is no fear of God before their eyes. Ps. 36:1
He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the LORD and put their trust in him. Ps. 40:3
The land yields its harvest; God, our God, blesses us. May God bless us still, so that all the ends of the earth will fear him. Ps. 67:6-7
The LORD Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy, he is the one you are to fear, he is the one you are to dread. Is. 8:13
Now I ask you to spend a good amount of time thinking on those scriptures. There are many that assure the one who fears God, of all sorts of great promises, apart from eternal life. They will understand God’s plan for them, they will cease sinning, they will be protected. And on and on they go. These scriptures are from both the new and the old testaments, so they are forever relevant to each and every one of us. They must NOT be ignored when God’s gospel is preached in churches.
Now I want to tell you another truth that is ignored today. When one learns to fear God, one is able to repent. I don’t know if any of you have made some sort of an effort to repent, knowing that it really means to stop sinning altogether. Or maybe even for one particular sin you have a serious problem with? I tried for decades, and I kept repeating that disgusting sin. I literally cried [with tears] out to God night after night to free me from this addiction. I was extremely sincere in my desire to be free from the sexual addiction that bound me. I asked for counsel from church leaders, I read so-called ‘Christian’ books, and I daily cried out to God in desperation and despair. I tried to ‘have greater faith.’ I tried to ‘believe in Jesus’ more. I tried to ‘trust Him’ and ‘have faith in His blood’ which was supposed to free me from sin. The ‘gospel’ that I knew and believed in with all my heart did NOT set me free. It did NOT bring me peace. That gospel is till being taught in almost every church today, my dear readers.
I received zero help from anyone. I was told by church leaders that I was being too hard on myself. One of those elders I watched ogling at the scantily clad gals at a beach one day. Another I watched checking out the open bathroom windows of a motel one night. I was not surprised they couldn’t help me. Somehow, they did not seem to have any shame or guilt about their addictions. In my heart I knew absolutely that I could not factually tell God I loved Him all the while I was a sexual pervert. Why I was so different from everyone else, is beyond my knowledge. But I sure praise God daily that I was. There were a couple of motives for my desperate search for truth. I hated myself and desperately wanted to find a place where I could be okay with myself. And I wanted to be able to honestly tell God I loved Him, and expect Him to believe me. Sadly, I was more focused on the former for a long time, until God showed me that He should have been my focus….not me. In my searching He told me in an incredibly personal and emotional way, that He was hurt more by my sin than I was. That event I describe in my book, ‘A Nation Broken.’
Just as God assured us repeatedly that fearing Him stops us from sinning, He also promises us that once we do repent [stop sinning], He sends the Holy Spirit to take up residence with us, and we begin that totally awesome and miraculous journey of living in Christ.
That simply CANNOT happen to anyone who sins.
For you are not a God who is pleased with wickedness; with you, evil people cannot dwell. Ps. 5:4
Repent is a word that is ‘thrown about’ carelessly today. It really does mean to cease sinning. Ezekiel explains it clearly:
Therefore, son of man, say to your people, ‘If someone who is righteous disobeys, that person’s former righteousness will count for nothing. And if someone who is wicked repents, that person’s former wickedness will not bring condemnation. The righteous person who sins will not be allowed to live even though they were formerly righteous.’
Therefore, son of man, say to your people, ‘If someone who is righteous disobeys, that person’s former righteousness will count for nothing. And if someone who is wicked repents, that person’s former wickedness will not bring condemnation. The righteous person who sins will not be allowed to live even though they were formerly righteous.’ Ez. 33:11-16
There is zero forgiveness in the absence of repentance. You simply cannot sin every day and ask God to forgive you each night. I am sure many of you do just that. And you cannot take the emblems at church on a Saturday or Sunday thinking they bring forgiveness for the past week’s sin.
He went into all the country around the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. Lk. 3:3
Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit Acts 2:38
Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, Acts 3:19
if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chron. 7:14
Please note that God only forgives you once you ‘turn from your wicked ways’ [stop sinning]. In fact, He makes it very clear that He does not even hear our prayers if we sin. Here are some more examples of that teaching:
If anyone turns a deaf ear to my instruction, even their prayers are detestable Prov. 28:9
We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly person who does his will. Jn. 9:31
If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened; Ps. 66:18 The Hebrew word that ‘cherished’ came from simply means to be aware of.
When you spread out your hands in prayer, I hide my eyes from you; even when you offer many prayers, I am not listening. Your hands are full of blood! Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong. Learn to do right; seek justice Is. 1:15-16
He said to me, “Have you seen this, son of man? Is it a trivial matter for the people of Judah to do the detestable things they are doing here? Must they also fill the land with violence and continually arouse my anger? Look at them putting the branch to their nose!
Therefore, I will deal with them in anger; I will not look on them with pity or spare them. Although they shout in my ears, I will not listen to them.” Ezek. 8:17-18
As I said above, when the Holy Spirit lives in you, you begin that journey of living in Christ. The old nature, or old man, or sinful nature, or fleshly nature, or body of sin, or whatever you care to call it, is gone. Paul teaches this in Romans six and eight, and other letters to his ‘flock. So do other writers of the New Testament.
John describes life in Christ in his third letter:
Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.
But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin.
No one who lives in him sins. No one who sins has either seen him or known him.
Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous.
The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.
No one who is born of God will sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot sin because they have been born of God.
This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister.1 Jn. 3:4-10
Most modern versions of the bible have added words to that scripture ‘to make it easier to understand,’ they say. They added ‘continue to,’ or ‘keeps on’ or ‘practice,’ which allows today’s pew-warmers and preachers to say we can sin, but not continuously or not to ‘practice sin’ etc. The KJV does not have those words. Jesus actually taught us the same truth in John 15 where He taught us about the vine and the branches, so John was not being crazy. All the while we are in Him, we will not sin. That’s perfectly logical, because in Him there is no sin.
Once we understand God’s truth, believe, accept, and embrace it, we will be children of His in right relationship with Him, doing what is right. When enough Americans do so, God will bring healing to this land. America will be exalted due to the righteousness of her citizens. Nothing like what is happening now will ever be possible, because Satan will be a defeated foe across the land, with the majority of the people living righteous lives, like Jesus. Crime will rapidly decrease, and fatherless kids will be rare. Divorce will be non-existent within the Church. God is so much more powerful than Satan, that America will be very great again. Even though I don’t call Christianity a religion, the ‘religious fanatics’ in America will beat the living daylights out of the religious fanatics in the middle east. America will be safe from their agenda of destroying this nation. And we will never have a president who is controlled by Satan.
My book details all of that truth, and much more, along with testimony of how God brought truth to me over a long period of time. I had no clue what I was expecting to find. I was just certain that I did not know the truth that would set me free and give me abundant life. You have God’s autobiography, where He reveals Himself to all who ‘seek Him with all their hearts.’ Once He sees just how serious and determined you are to get to know Him, He will use life’s experiences to add to what you find within His autobiography. He surely did with me, so I expect He will do the same for you. I will also add that I believe one must be very aware of the fact that God hates sin, and therefore is very displeased and even angry with you when you profess to love Him and keep sinning. So, with that truth bringing deep concern to your heart, you will be on your way to getting to know Him. James tells us how sin ought to make you feel.
Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up. James 4:8-10
