MIKE POMPEO FOR POTUS?
MIKE POMPEO FOR POTUS?
I just watched Mike Pompeo’s interview on Fox News’ Sunday Night in America. I was both highly impressed & deeply grieved. I know that sounds rather strange, but let me explain.
Mike’s obvious passion for making America a better country and giving Americans a far better life experience is incredibly impressive, and warms my heart greatly. He was able to state honestly that he had no regrets as to how he conducted himself as CIA Director or Secretary of State. That’s clearly impressive to say the least. He, and Donald Trump were obviously putting America first in everything they did, personally and nationally. We all know that those four years brought America to a place in the world where she had not been in a very long time., and Americans to a place of prosperity, freedom, security and pride that had been missing for many decades. And they did this while under incredibly oppressive aggression from the hard left.
As much as I believe Donald J Trump did more good for America and Americans than any POTUS prior to his one term in that position, I also believe that he would not be the best choice for the 47th POTUS simply due to the deep-seated hatred of the man from half the country as we saw in the mid-terms. The progressives are far more fired up against him now than they were while he was in the White House. In fact, I believe Satan has transformed their hatred into insanity, and their loyalty to Satan has caused them to do everything they can to destroy the United State of America. If Donald J Trump was to become the 47th POTUS this insanity would result in far worse mayhem, riots, anarchy, and destructive conduct from the left than ever took place during his first term. America can do without that, and someone who was as close to Donald J Trump during those four years as Mike was, and agreed with the polices and America first agenda, would make a far greater POTUS in 2025.
The grief I experienced was when Mike spoke about his ‘faith.’ I was brought up in a very fundamental evangelical ‘Christian’ home and saw with my own eyes the incredible hypocrisy of those people. I am not prepared to share with you all that I witnessed because that would be detrimental to the legacy of certain people. However, I did my best to follow the ‘rules’ of the evangelical doctrine until my father sent me to a boarding school when I was just thirteen years young. I quickly learned all about the ‘world’ which I had NEVER experienced before, and I learned to do what the street-smart kids did. My ‘faith’ surely did NOT keep me pure or innocent for those years. When I finished my schooling I spent some months at home, in a small rural town, before I left for the big city where I partied and womanised hard core. I eventually joined a motor cycle gang and did some of the things such lowlifes do. I just wasn’t able to do the other incredibly inhumane things they did. I was only in it for the sex that was so easily available.
A few years in that company was enough and I left my home country of New Zealand for Australia. I met a young lady who took my breath away, and we married. She had been married before and divorced due to her husband’s unfaithfulness and brutal beatings of her. She had two sons who were five and six when we married. She was not a woman of faith at all but I decided that I was going to raise my children to be fine Christian men. Maureen and I had two sons of our own, and we faithfully attended church every weekend and some other week-night meetings. I am sure I fought my sexual lust addiction far harder than anyone has ever done, but to no avail. I sought counsel from pastors and elders but was told I was being too hard on myself. Can you believe that? I was so disgusted and ashamed of myself as a leader in the churches we attended that I literally despised myself. I was just like those with whom I had been raised as a child and that bothered me seriously. Something in me knew that I could not testify to having a love for God all the while I was mastered by Satan, as I knew I was. Even the money spent on ‘Christian’ books written by world-renown authors offered me no help.
I dug in my toes and made it my highest priority to find the answer to my addiction and wicked hypocrisy. I literally spent hundreds of hours studying several versions of the bible. I experienced two events in which God spoke very clearly and personally to me. I have recorded those in a book I wrote in 2013 after spending two decades in America researching ‘Christianity.’ That research literally broke my heart. What I witnessed in churches and various ministries where I volunteered across America was enough to put off any person from ever wanting to be a Christian. I will not go into that here. But I did find the truth in God’s word that allowed me to repent, and God set me free from my filthy addiction. What an incredible, miraculous transformation that was for me. What joy, peace and freedom, beyond anything I could ever think or imagine, just as God promised it would be.
But then I was faced with a totally different problem. When I attempted to share my testimony with my church peers I was ostracised, and aggressively and verbally abused. I only wanted to lead them to the miraculous and incredibly wonderful life I was living now. That has continued to this present time. My experience has proven to me that the doctrine of today’s evangelicals is absolutely false and does NOT transform lives at all. I have experienced exactly what the bible promises will be true for God’s children. I have a very close, meaningful relationship with God, joy unspeakable, a peace that passes all understanding, and freedom just as God declared it would be in Is.40:31. While I pretended to be a spiritually mature child of God, I lived in a fantasy world of make believe, mind games & charades, and that always bothered me terribly. I had learned to hate hypocrisy at a young age and here I was, a huge hypocrite myself with four sons who I desperately wanted to know the reality of life with God. My church peers all respected me and even admired me & every church we attended I was soon elected to leadership positions. We moved a lot due to my vocation.
When I listened to Mike talk about his ‘faith,’ and how he ‘always knew’ there was ‘something greater’ out there I cringed. I wanted to yell at him, “No, Mike there is Someone who wants to live in you which is far greater than you ever imagined.’ It reminded me of that anti-semitic congresswoman who said, ‘something happened’ on 9/11. I cannot spell her name but you know who she is. The huge problem with ‘faith’ today is that the people who claim to have this ‘faith,’ do not know God. They have no close, meaningful relationship with Him. They focus all their attention on Jesus, and love quoting stupid, meaningless unbiblical church talking points to prove their ‘faith.’ When one repents, the Holy Spirit comes to dwell within that one. That makes one a Christian. When He is given to you, your sins are all forgiven, and you begin that awesome journey of living in Christ where there is no sin.
Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin.
No one who lives in him sins. No one who sins has either seen him or known him.
Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous.
The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.
No one who is born of God will sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot sin, because they have been born of God.
This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister. 1 Jn.3:4-10 NIV minus the words men added when they compiled the modern versions. The KJV has it right still I believe.
In fact, God assures us that when we repent, He creates that three-part being as Adam & Eve were created, in the image of a triune God. 2 Cor. 5:17 All the old goes away and everything is new. But it’s even far better than that. See this:
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. Ezek. 36:26-27
This is precisely how and why real Christians live free from sin. God declares that we must work out our salvation with fear and trembling Phil 2:12, but of course today’s gospel has absolutely no relation to that. We just have to say some words, often after the pastor or counsellor. When that happens and one gets involved with a church full of people, who all seriously assure everyone that they have abundant life, and love Jesus, and know peace, and joy etc. they follow suit, and really believe what they imagine to be true. I’ve seen it all close up and personal. We have all seen many church leaders go to prison for sexually abusing young girls, and even boys. And even for worse sins. The ’flock’ left behind are not fazed by this, and make excuses like, ‘we all have our demons.’ Sin is no big deal for church leaders or attendees today. But God cannot be close to sin. He had to evict Lucifer and a third of the heavenly angels from heaven bc of one sin. Adam and Eve died [spiritually] because of one sin, and lost their relationship with God. Sin always results in death. Paul taught us that over and over again. And that was well after Calvary when Jesus’ blood was supposed to have forgiven all our sins and redeemed us according to today’s gospel. Paul was actually trained by Jesus on how to teach His gospel to the Gentiles. He was clearly not aware of today’s message of salvation.
Here is what God’s message of salvation looks like:
How to work out one’s salvation with fear & trembling:
Know God, Jer. 29:11-14, Jn. 17:3, 2 Thes. 1:8-9
Fear God. Acts 10:34-35, Prov, 28:14, Matt. 10:28
Repent. Ex. 20:20, Ezek. 33:11-20
Receive the Holy Spirit for forgiveness of sins. Acts 2:38
Live in Christ where there’s NO SIN. 1 Jn. 3:4-10
The Holy Spirit will control every aspect of your life, Ezek. 36:26-27
I trust you can see why I was grieved while listening to Mike’s ‘testimony.’ I have no doubt that Mike is an upstanding member of his church, and is respected and even admired, as I was, by his peers. He has never felt the need to search for anything other than whet he has been taught, and it appears to have changed his life to a degree that he sincerely believes he is a child of God. It is easy to fit in with a lively, fun-loving, social group of like-minded people and not know that one has been duped as it is clear that all of today’s church folks have been. I actually pray for Mike daily bc I believe he would make an incredible president and especially if he was truly born again. God hears my prayers in contrast to the prayers from sinners which He never hears.
if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chron. 7:14
If I had been aware of sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened; Ps. 66:18
If anyone turns a deaf ear to my instruction, even their prayers are detestable Prov. 28:9
We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly person who does his will. Jn. 9:31
When you spread out your hands in prayer, I will hide my face from you. Even if you offer many prayers, I am not listening. Your hands are full of blood! Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong. Learn to do right; seek justice. Is. 1:15-16
He said to me, “Have you seen this, son of man? Is it a trivial matter for the people of America to do the detestable things they are doing here? Must they also fill the land with violence and continually provoke me to anger? Look at them thumbing their noses at me.
Therefore, I will deal with them in anger; I will not look on them with pity or spare them. Although they shout in my ears, I will not listen to them.” Ezek. 8:17-18
This a truth I have not been able to persuade ‘Christian’ tweeters to accept. They fight me all the way when I offer them these scriptures. It has been so ingrained into their brains and hearts that they cannot live free from sin that this concept is simply beyond their ability to compute.
My book, A Nation Broken, declares God’s plan to bring total healing to America. Amazon or B & N have it and it comes very highly recommended.
Rev. Stitt has written an extremely relevant book concerning the present appalling state of this once-God-fearing country. He pulls no punches in sharing his message: “The bible has not only been taken out of schools, but it has been adulterated in churches.” This is a powerful, penetrating look into how far we have fallen from our Godly beginnings—not just secular government, but the body of believers, as well— and how as a nation we can turn around. This will be hard for some to read; others will rejoice that someone has come forward to point out the clear biblical truths that are being ignored or adulterated in our society. No reader will reach the end unaffected.
