CARLSON & ISKER INTERVIEW
CARLSON AND ISKER INTERVIEW.
I just listened to an interview Tucker Carlson did with Andrew Isker. I made some notes as they spoke together for an hour or more.
Firstly they spoke of prayer being something that brings us closer to God. Andrew introduced himself as a pastor who absolutely believes the bible and everything in it. ‘He teaches biblical truth persistently.’ I read posts on X every day that yap about getting closer to God through prayer, worship, praise, fellowship with other believers etc. The bible teaches very clearly that ALL Christians are indwelt with God’s Spirit, who controls their lives and moves them to do His will and obey His laws. Paul taught this in Romans eight where he assured us that it we walk in the flesh, which is according to our old nature, we are not a Christian. If we are God’s kids, we walk in the Spirit, doing what He demands of us.
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. Ezek. 36:26-27
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because, through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. Rom. 8:1-4
As I have posted on X many times, we cannot be any closer to God, than having Him residing in our bodies/hearts. So none of those things Xers go on about, make any difference to our closeness to God. In fact, God does not even hear prayers from sinners.
if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chron. 7:14
If I had cherished [been aware of] sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened. Ps.66:18
If anyone turns a deaf ear to my instruction, even their prayers are detestable. Prov. 28:9
When you spread out your hands in prayer, I hide my eyes from you; even when you offer many prayers, I am not listening. Your hands are full of blood! Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong. Is. 1:15-16
“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?
Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter— when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?
Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.
Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I. “If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk, and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday. Is. 58:6-10
But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. Is. 59:2
He said to me, “Have you seen this, son of man? Is it a trivial matter for the people of Judah to do the detestable things they are doing here? Must they also fill the land with violence and continually arouse my anger? Look at them putting the branch to their nose!
Therefore I will deal with them in anger; I will not look on them with pity or spare them. Although they shout in my ears, I will not listen to them.” Ezek. 8:17-18
We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly person who does his will. Jn. 9:31
How Andrew can state that he believes everything in the bible, and teaches only that, is beyond me. The bible teaches over and over that sinners prayers are never heard by God, and in fact, it tells us that God despises any charade of any sinner praising or worshiping Him. Is. 66:1-4 So praying obviously does not bring a sinner closer to God.
One has to wonder what gospel Andrew teaches. He told Tucker that other churches teach ‘an easy gospel.’ He’s right there, because Satan’s ‘Jesus Freaking’ cult teaches that all one has to do is ‘believe in Jesus,’ or ‘come to’ or ‘trust’ or ‘have faith in’ Jesus, and ‘make Jesus their Lord & Savior.’ How one does that, is beyond me, as well. Jesus came to take away our sins, but every ‘Jesus believing person’ I have talked to about this confesses to being a sinner. When asked why Jesus did not take away their sins, they tell me that He canceled the consequence of their sins, by dying on the cross. The bible does not teach that, anywhere. In fact, the gospel today is so cheap that at most ‘revival’ meetings, or evangelistic rally, counselors are trained to have the ones who ‘come forward’ say certain words after them, and that makes that sinner a child of God. Millions of such folks have vacated their pews over the recent decades and continue doing so today because they got sick and tired of pretending something happened to them when they said those words after the counselor.
God’s message of salvation, like Him, has not changed since the beginning of time. It was; “obey Me and live, or don’t and don’t,” in the garden of Eden, and Jesus, Paul, and John came on the scene much later to confirm that.
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Matt. 7:21
You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. Heb. 10:36
The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever. 1 Jn. 2:17
The most repeated command from God or Jesus in the bible is to repent. And that does not mean to ask Jesus to forgive you for your sins each night!! The word came from a Greek word, ‘metanoia’ meaning; ‘to change any or all of the elements comprising one’s life: attitude, thoughts, and behaviors concerning the demands of God for right living.’ So, if you believe that sin is okay with God, you need to change that, by repenting!!
Ezek. 33:11-20 assures us that the Jews back then were capable of stopping sinning. I have heard from far too many pulpits that human beings cannot stop sinning. What do we do with 1 Jn. 3:4-10, then? If you read that in the KJV it clearly assures us that Christians do not, and in fact, cannot sin, all the while they are IN Christ. The modern versions had words added to them by those who compiled them.
James gives us a word picture of repentance in the New Covenant, where we all live.
They discussed the story of Lot, in Sodom, when the two angels came to visit him. They seemed completely shocked that Lot would offer the gay men who wanted to have sex with the angels, his daughters to do with as they desired. I have heard preachers and other church leaders accuse Lot of some terrible sin by doing that. They accuse him of allowing gay men to have sex with his daughters. This is NOT the case!! Lot was in a relationship with God. That’s why God sent the angels to tell him to get out of that city because He was going to destroy it. I truly believe that God told Lot to offer his daughters, because He knew these filthy sexual perverts would show zero interest in having sex in the way God invented it. It would be a clear display of how homosexuality was, and still is abhorrent to God.
Andrew has this wonderful dream of establishing small towns with only Christians living, and being employed in them. That is totally contrary to God’s word, when He tells us that we must be a light in the darkness to attract those living in the dark, to the light of God/Christ. How can a bunch of Christians living and working together have any way of displaying the light to unrepentant sinners? That is not the way God wants Christians to live at all. Andrew wants to be the pastor of the church in the town he lives in, of course. Sounds like he doesn’t want any competition.
They both agreed that Donald Trump and JD Vance have an incredibly powerful effect on tens of millions of American Christians!!! Do either of these two ever read a bible, let alone study one to get to know God? Obviously not. God demands purity from hearts and mouths of Christians.
But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Col. 3:8
But there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality among you, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, for these are improper for God's holy people. Eph. 5:3
Both Trump and Vance use filthy language, which shows us that they are not Christians.
In fact, their attitudes and conduct in the White House when Zelensky was there displayed grossly ungodly character. That was a VERY nasty display of personality and character from them both. Trump’s snide, sarcastic remark about Zelensky’s clothing displayed the same.
The book I wrote after researching ‘American Christianity’ for 19 year,s shares the truth of God’s message of salvation and His plan to heal America. Amazon has it, and it comes very highly recommended. America will NEVER heal until there is a major spiritual awakening, and refusal to accept Satan’s ‘Jesus Freaking’ cult lies.
