AMERICA’S DEMISE
I am somewhat encouraged as I watch Fox News these days. Some of the guests are talking about the spiritual side of this disaster we are all watching taking place before our very eyes. Tulsi Gabbard used the term ‘child of God’ today, in The Next Revolution. She quoted one of the founding fathers bringing God into the equation. I actually spent many years in America, seriously involved in what has been called ‘Christianity.’ That was from 1992 through 2011, and I returned to New Zealand broken-hearted, and terribly frustrated with the condition of ‘Christianity’ across the nation at that time. I actually wrote a book about the very evil that we all see in society today, because I saw it then, and knew it would expand greatly unless a mighty spiritual awakening took place. Well, sadly, such an awakening has not taken place, and evil prevails in a major way today. And that is happening here in my country as well as all over the planet. Human beings are becoming more and more evil as time goes on. That is a fact that cannot be argued.
The so-called ‘Church’ in America is aware of this as well, and instead of searching for any reason for this, they are doubling down on the false gospel they have preached for 150 years, ever since the Holiness Movement petered out. They are spending piles of money, making films like, ‘Nothing But The Truth,’ and other equally false propaganda in their attempt to deceive even more poor souls. At the same, time the most respected research institute that this same ‘Church’ has admired for decades has recently declared that ‘Christianity’ has been rotting from the inside out for years.

The census figures show that millions of Americans have left their churches over the past decade. The church leaders are aware of this as well, and, as I said, are doubling down on their false gospel that has caused these deserters. When confronted with God’s true gospel they become very agitated and defensive, even quite angry and aggressive. Believe me, I have been on the other end of their emotional reactions. I could share many very sad experiences from my recent past, but you probably would not believe that church leaders would be capable of acting in such an ungodly manner.
I have at times seen somebody quote 2 Chron, 7:14 as their answer to the ‘fall of America.’ Here it is from the NIV:
if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chron. 7:14
Let me break that down for you. There is a promise, and some conditions for such a promise. The promise is that God will hear prayers, forgive sins, and heal the land in which these folks live. Very basic, logical, common sense that any person with half a brain could understand. We must remember that Gods was talking to Jews at this time. They were His chosen people. [folks called by His name] When Jesus came, He did away with all discrimination as far as salvation is concerned, [becoming God’s children] and made it possible for any person anywhere to vacate Satan’s camp and join God’s. Just as there were obviously some Jews who were not living the life that God demanded of them at that time, we must understand that millions of church-going, ‘faithful’ folks today are not humble, do not seek God’s face seriously, and have never turned from their wicked ways. The same was true for God’s chosen people back in the time that verse was quilled. In fact, I am sure that every church I ever attended in America, I heard the preacher assure the congregation that they were all sinners, as was he. They were all told they could not ever be perfect, or stop sinning. Now let me share some more perfectly easy to understand words from God with you.
If anyone turns a deaf ear to my instruction, even their prayers are detestable, Prov. 28:9
We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly person who does his will. Jn. 9:31
If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened. Ps. 66:18
When you spread out your hands in prayer, I hide my eyes from you; even when you offer many prayers, I am not listening. Your hands are full of blood! Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong. Learn to do right; seek justice. Is. 1:15-16
He said to me, “Have you seen this, son of man? Is it a trivial matter for the people of Judah to do the detestable things they are doing here? Must they also fill the land with violence and continually arouse my anger? Look at them putting the branch to their nose!
Therefore, I will deal with them in anger; I will not look on them with pity or spare them. Although they shout in my ears, I will not listen to them.” Ezek. 8:17-18
For you are not a God who is pleased with wickedness; with you, evil people cannot dwell. Ps. 5:4.
God never changes like shifting shadows. Js. 1:17
Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.
Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever.
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. Jn. 8:34-36
For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin because anyone who has died has been set free from sin. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. Romans 6:6-8
We must understand that Jesus never told us that we can be ‘saved by grace.’ His message was always very clear, and often repeated, as He trod the dusty trails of Judea and Galilee. Repent! was His major theme. That word comes from a Greek word that really does mean to be removed, shifted, from all sin. The same message was taught by Ezekiel. Read chapter 18 and 33:11-16 of his book, please. God’s message of salvation has never altered from Genesis 4:7 to Revelation 22:14-15
Today’s gospel has told you that Jesus has done all the work for you, so there is nothing you need to do. Just come to Him: believe in Him: trust Him: have faith in Him: accept Him as your Lord and Savior etc. They make such a huge deal about Jesus, but never tell you what He taught us. Here are some teachings of Jesus that you will never hear from a pulpit today.
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Mat. 10:28
Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. Mat. 5:46
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Mat. 7:21
Then He gave us the Great Commission that reads:
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Mat. 28:19-20
As you may have noticed, preachers of today tell you lies, rather than teach you truth. Jesus assures us that if we sin, we go to hell, and if we don’t obey God [do God’s will] we go to hell, and if we don’t obey His commandments, we cannot be His disciples [Christians]. I have given you some of Jesus’ commandments above which your preachers tell you are impossible to obey.
No wonder Christianity has been rotting from within. No wonder millions have been vacating their pews. I don’t give a hoot how many times your preacher assures you that you cannot stop sinning and can never be perfect. Jesus says these are essentials for eternal life. These lies have been propagated for so long and with such intensity that they have been ingrained in the hearts and minds of men and women as absolute truth. You may well have attempted to stop sinning, and to be perfect. You may have done so with all your strength, vigour, heart, and mind. And failed! Just as I did. Then I made it my top priority to find truth. After several years of searching with all my heart, God opened my blinded eyes, and softened my hardened heart.
I got to know God, learned to fear Him, and was able to truly repent. At that time, the Holy Spirit came and took up residence within me, and I began that truly miraculous and awesome journey of living ‘in Christ’ as John describes in his first letter.
Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.
But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin.
No one who lives in him sins. No one who sins has either seen him or known him.
Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous.
The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.
No one who is born of God will sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot sin, because they have been born of God.
This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister. 1 Jn. 3:4-10
I am fully aware that what you just read there is not found in the NIV or most every ‘modern’ version of the bible. It is actually found in the KJV, albeit in 16th century English. Man has added some words to this passage to make it possible to stretch the meaning to agree with what Satan wishes God had told John to write on that scroll. I have been assured by a well respected and admired ‘man of God’ who is in full-time leadership ministry with YWAM that God is simply telling us that “Christians cannot be addicted to sin: they cannot be mastered by sin: they cannot ‘continually’ sin, etc. But of course, we all know that all people sin, even God’s kids, sometimes.”
I can testify, with zero pride, ego, self-righteousness or boasting, just as Paul was able to do, that in God’s eyes I am innocent. I have a clear conscience. I am righteous, holy, blameless, without stain, wrinkle, or any other blemish. I repented, and the Holy Spirit now controls my words, actions, thoughts and attitudes. That is exactly what Paul taught us would be true of every child of God: follower of Christ: believer: Christian: person who lives ‘in Christ,’ or however else you choose to name someone who is born again by God’s Spirit.
I trust you also noticed that righteousness is earned by ‘doing what is right.’ It has never been ‘imputed’ to anyone. It has always been the result of doing God’s will [what is right]. If you are confused about that fact, or anything I have written above, I strongly encourage you to read my book, ‘A Nation Broken’ to find God’s true gospel explained in detail.
